LCSW supervision
Individualized clinical supervision toward your Texas LCSW — structured, supportive, and paced to how you actually learn.
Supervision built around you
Earning your LCSW is a relationship-driven process, not a box to check. As a board-approved clinical supervisor, I provide individualized supervision for LMSWs working toward full clinical licensure in Texas. Each session is shaped by your caseload, your practice setting, and the areas where you most want to grow — so supervision supports both your licensure and the clinician you're becoming.
What we'll focus on
Together we'll build the competencies that matter for licensure and for real-world practice:
- Clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Ethics, boundaries, and risk management
- Evidence-based interventions — CBT, solution-focused, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care
- Documentation and clinical writing
- Cultural responsiveness and working across difference
- Building your confidence and your own therapeutic style
How supervision works
Supervision is offered virtually with flexible scheduling — bi-weekly sessions, with evenings and weekends available to fit around your work. We'll put a supervision agreement in place and track your hours toward licensure. Because state rules can change, we'll confirm the current Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners requirements for supervised hours and finalize your supervision plan at our first meeting.
Getting started
The first step is a free consultation — no commitment. We'll talk through where you are in the process, your timeline, and whether we're the right fit, then set up a plan. Have questions first? The supervision FAQ covers licensure hours and getting started. When you're ready, pick a time below.
